About Juliet

Juliet Ayana

Nutritionist/Massage Therapist

My love for massage came about when I was studying hairdressing, I hated it and the only thing I enjoyed was giving customers massage after washing hair; they would often tell me I have healing hands. Once the course ended I tried Beauty therapy which included a massage unit, again I hated it but thoroughly enjoyed facials and massage. Once I realized this I studied a full massage course. Massage to me is more than a little treat not only is it beneficial to the clients in a number of ways but its healing to me as a therapist, its the only time I am relaxed with nothing running through my head – my form of meditation if you like making it a win win situation. I have worked in many salons and that experience has taught me alot about the industry.

my passion and knowledge for healing through massage led me onto a 4yr BSc in ‘Nutrition & Human Health’. I believe that good health starts from the inside, what you eat & drink will affect your health and well being. Its important to me that people take charge of their health physically, mentally and emotionally by balancing the body’s energies.

At Suma Therapies our practice is based on the theory that each person is very different and as a result each person’s nutritional needs, fitness and wellbeing are unique. Through my holistic therapies I aim to find the perfect balance for your wellbeing by treating the whole person and not just the symptoms.
